To Post #40 Legion, Auxiliary, and Sons of the American Legion members,
   The turnout for the Memorial Day Ceremony was wonderful. Thank you to all the Post #40 Legionnaires and Auxiliary members who were able to attend.
   A special thank you to Chloe Miller a graduating senior from Lanesboro High School for sharing her trip to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and what it meant to her.
   Thank you to Tom Pursell for his talk about World War II through his love of history and the knowledge passed on to him from his grandfather and father.
   Poppy Sales which are for the Preston Veteran’s Home went well.
   Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help with the events over Memorial Day Weekend!
   Thank you to Barb Jeffers of the Fillmore County Journal for her photography.
