ARMED FORCES SERVICE CENTER  Updated  6-15-2021
The ARMED FORCES SERVICE CENTER (AFSC) at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is open, with limited hours of operations from 8 AM to 8 PM seven days a week during our Phase 2 opening plan. Access is limited to traveling active-duty military, their dependents, Medal of Honor (MoH) Recipients, and Purple Heart Recipients. Retirees and their dependents on a space-available basis are also warmly welcomed. Please call 612-726-9156 for access updates or assistance or go to https.//www.mnafsc.org
Due to current COVID and DoD travel restrictions, they are presently offering grab-and-go lobby seating for recruits, DoD civilians, and PHS personnel. AFSC will post an update as soon as the restrictions are lifted.
Face masks are required. The AFSC has been modified to meet CDC health and safety guidelines with no sleeping bunks or showers. Click here for a list of currently available amenities.
The AFSC is located inside security at the entrance to the A Concourse, on level two. Take the elevator next to Bruegger’s Bagels.
Most AFSC are operated by the USO, but the one in Minneapolis is an independent nonprofit. The American Legion and other veteran service organizations provide funds to the center, among other funding sources, like Delta Air Lines. The American Legion has a member who sits on the board — presently it is 4th District Commander Joe Jansen.
