All talks begin at 7 pm. All presentations are on Tuesday.
Attending the presentations are free, but the museum does charge a small fee for parking.
 
• December 12: The author of “A Pitiful Unholy Mess,” Michael Wenger, will show the air battles between the Americans and Japanese during the attack of Dec. 7, 1941, and discuss the early use of primitive radar.

• January 9: James Conroy, the author of “The Devils Will Get No Rest,” will discuss the Casablanca Conference of January 1943, where a grand strategy among Allied powers were planned for both theaters.

• Feb. 13: Three authors collaborated to write “The Viking Battalion.” They are Erik Brun, Kyle Ward and Olaf Minge. The book is a collection of biographies from the veterans of the 99th Battalion, formed of Norwegian-Americans to liberate Norway.

• March 12: James Kimble, author of “Mobilizing the Home Front,” will present on efforts to rally the public, and Todd DePastino, author of “Bill Mauldin,” will show how cartoons of Willie & Joe in “Stars & Stripes” were used to raise the morale of troops in the battlefields.

• April 9: David Dworak, author of “War of Supply,” will discuss the logistics efforts in the Mediterranean in the part of fighting in the European Theater.

• May 14: “One Day in August” author David O’Keefe will go over the tragic failure of the August 1942 amphibious attack on Dieppe and how lessons learned led to success on D-Day in June 1944.
